Club Member November 2024 package
As we send out this November package, we want to express our deep gratitude for your support and dedication to Sequoia Sake. Your membership in the Sake Club means a great deal to us, and we are honored that you’ve chosen to share this journey with us. Each package offers a chance for us to share new creations, but this one holds special significance as part of our 10th anniversary celebration. We’ve crafted it to reflect our appreciation and to make it a truly memorable experience.
For over a year, Noriko has carefully researched and planned our Kijoshu sake for this very occasion. Kijoshu is a luxurious and rare style of sake, originally crafted in 1973 as a Japanese response to fine European wines. Its distinctive brewing method, which replaces added water with previously brewed sake, results in a deep, rich sweetness with complex layers of honey, caramel, and dried fruit.
We recommend this special sake be served at room temperature, chilled, or over ice. Its luxurious sweetness pairs beautifully with desserts and is exquisite as an aperitif. It’s also a delightful complement to cocktails or foods like dark chocolate, salted nuts, caramel ice cream, or fruit-based dishes.

Sparkling Sake
Sequoia Sparkling Sake is a ginjo sake with refreshing effervescence, a light body, and lower alcohol—perfect for holiday toasts with friends, family, or someone special. It offers a well-balanced flavor with fruity notes and just the right touch of acidity to complement a wide range of dishes, from creamy cheeses and seafood to fresh fruit. Serve chilled for the best experience.

Hazy Delight
After training at two different sake breweries in Japan and working for two more years at Sequoia, Olivia released Hazy Delight. Her inspiration came from recognizing the lack of diversity in nigori styles in the U.S. compared to Japan, where most nigori are lighter and less creamy than those found here.
Hazy Delight is a light sake with a refreshing, refined flavor. What sets it apart is that, unlike typical nigori, which can be challenging to pair with food, Hazy Delight is subtle enough not to overpower your main course. Its delicate balance of earthy notes pairs beautifully with Dungeness crab from Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach pesto pizza, and more. Olivia invites you to try her creation and looks forward to hearing your thoughts.
Serve chilled | Alc.: 15-16%
