Sequoia’s founders have created the first ever Napa California wine barrel-aged sake. We start with our Junmai Ginjo sake then store it in white wine barrels for 3 months. The sake slowly breathes in the aromas as they escape the barrel. The buttery tones of vanilla and coconut are embraced with the rich citrus flavors of lemon and grapefruit. Enjoy with light fare- like chicken, seafood or veggies and dip. This is a delightful drinking sake and meant to be shared.
Appearance: Pale straw-yellow in color.
Aroma: Soft nose with chamomile, mango-pineapple with notes of vanilla.
Palate: Dry yet delicate crisp-elegance that flows smoothly over your palate with just a hint of oak and sweetness.

Barrel: French oak, previously used for Matthiasson Winery’s Chardonnay, Napa California.
